Are these offers legally binding?
In short, no. The offers are not legally binding. The offer registered is the price point at which you enter the conversation to show your intention and interest. Should you reach an agreement, the Professionals will guide you through the next steps.
Can I make multiple offers on multiple properties at the same time?
Absolutely! You will be able to easily keep track of all your offers in your Account with the Offer Status update.
As a Buyer, what happens if my offer is too low?
The agent will be in touch to let you know if your offer is too low. Like all negotiations, a property is worth what someone is willing to pay and what someone is willing to accept. If your intended interest is too far away from either the iVal or from the owner’s interest, the Professional will guide you to where it needs to be.
As a Buyer, do I have to use an agent?
In short, yes. Using the agent is the quickest way to help you get the conversation started and show your intention as quickly as possible to an owner.
As a Seller, why can’t I claim my property?
You may not be able to claim your property if you do not have all the documentation and evidence to prove your identity. We take this seriously to ensure we are dealing with the correct parties.
As an Agent, how long does it take to get approved by make an offer?
Make an offer endeavour to process and approve agents as soon as possible. There are several checks that will need to be met so please allow 24 – 72 hours.
As an Agent, what if my profile assessment is not successful?
If your assessment is not successful, we will be in touch to explain why and the next steps you can take to be the approved agent. In short, it is not necessarily the end of the road for you but trying to understand the right fit.
As an Agent, am I required to follow up every lead?
In short, enquiries do need to be responded to. At make an offer, we value our Buyers and want them to experience professionalism, whether they do or don’t transact. Those experienced in the industry know that beginner buyers will become great purchasers. It’s all matter of timing. And if it’s not this opportunity, it’s the next one. Imagine how you would feel making an offer on a house only to never be contacted by the agent. It’s not a good look for you and it’s not a good experience for the Buyer.
